Well I've decided that I'm going to incorporate a portrait of the singer Ella Fitzgerald in my painting.  She was born in Newport News, VA.
 
 
In response to your idea about the law and your question on its suitability, Justin, I just wanted to say: I think it sounds great.  If you want to do editorial illustrations, then it makes sense that you should be putting that work out for art directors to see.  So I hope you do it and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Hey, just wanted to say that I'm definitely in as far as the images of Richmond go. I'll post an idea in the next couple of days or so.

I have a painting already done! It's on Virginia moonshine! Yeeaah! I even have 4x6 cards printed of it, so it's no problem for me to meet this deadline (for once!) Is there a way to post images here?
